well Trevor’s bilirubin count was a bit high. so to make sure that jaundice doesn’t set in they are going to hold him here for another day. myself and the PogoWife will continue to be here in the room to until sometime tomorrow.
we thought this better then taking him home in order to just bundle him back up to come back here tomorrow and just perhaps put him under the lights anyway.
there’s no ‘problem’ and nothing to really worry about. it’s just with all his bruising his liver just isn’t up to the task of dealing with the bruises, the lights will take care of that problem.

well we have found that the sugar levels are ok and not much of anything to worry about. the Dr’s still ‘watching’ it.. but mostly to make sure that Trevor will breast feed alright.
on the arm front.. The DRs have found that his left clavicle was broken during birth. He now in a little sling until about Sunday. Thank god babies mend easily. hehe
other then that.. Mom, Dad, and Trevor are all still doing fine. Tired as hell.. but all doing well.
today, we got a number of visitors. The T. came and hung out for a few hours then Grandma, and his two aunts came to see Trevor for the first time. =)

ok.. rough ride. However Trevor is ok. at least oxygen and blood sugar wise.
THe Baby DR. isn’t worried about his arm or shoulder. looks like everything there is ok. oxygen and blood sugar levels are good. Baby DR. plans to do a feeding and watch the sugers to make sure everything is good. So where as the delivery itself was pretty rough, and momma and baby have bruises to prove it.. looks like all is good.

ok.. skinny is.. Trevor is in ICU 2.
needs a little oxygen which could be nothing more then the stress or the being 3 weeks early. the nurses are also checking into his arm. We’ll know details about that soon (About an hour) he’s 9.7 lbs.. PogoWife has needed stiches.. and I’m about to pass out.
